Ainscough Industrial Services is a privately-owned industrial services specialist with a track record going back more than 40 years and capabilities that allow us to meet our customers’ needs across Europe and beyond.
Today, we have more than 200 skilled employees, a vetted and trusted international supply chain and an enviable fleet of vehicles and equipment that mean no project is too complex.
Originally established by the Ainscough family in 1976, the company formed Ainscough Crane Hire in 1982 and Ainscough Engineering was formed in 2001. Four years later, Ainscough Engineering merged with Pickford Vanguard to become AIS Vanguard.
The crane hire business was sold in 2007 to allow the company to focus on industrial services. In 2013, under the leadership of Matt Ainscough who took the helm in 2009, AIS Industrial Services was formed as the Group holding company. AIS Wind Energy was acquired in 2019 and, in 2020, AIS Eurelo was formed, giving us a wide-ranging integrated and international industrial services offering.
We now operate out of 10 locations in the UK and Europe offering a turnkey approach to advising customers, project planning and management, CDM management, lifting, mechanical and electrical services, de-commissioning and installation, logistics and storage.
