Who We Are…

Ainscough Industrial Services is one of the UK’s largest privately owned management business that owns and supports a number of subsidiary businesses providing engineering services to industry covering six core functions: Mechanical, Installation, Pipework, Electrical, Fabrication and Technical Lifting. We have a fully integrated management system, audited by Intertek that covers ISO 9001, 14001 and  OHSAS 18001.

Who We Were…

In 1982 Ainscough Engineering was formed as part of the Ainscough Crane Hire Group.  The company began a national expansion program and in 2001 due to the success and size of the business it became a limited company in its own right.

In March 2005 Ainscough Engineering acquired Pickfords Vanguard (an amalgamation of Pickfords Industrial Services and Vanguard Engineering) becoming one of the largest providers of integrated and professional Industrial Engineering Services in the UK and Europe.

Today – Ainscough Industrial Services consists of three main trading divisions:

 

AIS Vanguard Ltd

Covers all aspects of mechanical engineering, heavy lifting and machinery installation & removal. Operating throughout the UK as a structured branch network of support.

AIS Projects Ltd

Undertakes large multi disciplined projects where the primary emphasis is AIS Vanguard work supported for turnkey works with strategic partners in M&E.

AIS Seward Wyon

Undertakes bespoke design, inspection, consultancy, technical lifting and mechanical services in the ports industry.
